On view is Hockney’s retrospective of the last 50 years, captured in the vivid portraiture of loved ones and colleagues painted in his Los Angeles studio. Frank Gehry, John Baldessari, Benedikt Taschen, Larry Gagosian — couldn’t say “no” and all appear here. The extensive exhibit is a collaboration between the Royal Academy of Arts, London and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Closes July 29th.
