Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 1992. Screaming Eagle’s Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon vintage reflects the expertise of winemaker Heidi Peterson Barrett, whose success can be credited to high critics’ scores, limited production, and scarcity relative to its demand. In fact, it received a near-perfect score of 99 from wine critic Robert Parker. This increased the value of the 92 Screaming Eagle, which is characterized by its notes of oak and blackcurrants and strong tannin content. A six-liter bottle was acquired for US$500,000 at an auction just five years after its release.
