For me, a landscape does not exist in its own right, since its appearance changes at every moment; but the surrounding atmosphere brings it to life – the light and the air which vary continually. For me, it is only the surrounding atmosphere which gives subjects their true value. – Claude Monet
Today color, light and form play pivotal roles in my photography.
During my October visit to Acadia National Park there was a small retention pond next to some sort of Building which was in route to all the marvelous ocean side scenic stops of the park. I noticed during the early morning hours just before sunrise the brilliance of colors on this small pond. People passing me thought I was crazy because all the good stuff was just up the road.
