Lynn Park Charveriat is a Korean-American artist, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was raised in Dallas, Texas, where Protestantism played a strong role attending Christian high school and studied art and fashion in Los Angeles at Otis Parsons School of Art and Design before moving to New York City.
Artworks in collage assemblage, neon, photography, porcelain sculptures, mixed media and fabric paintings comprise her repertoire. She works with neon in a spiritual sense that the words and images are filled with light and modern forms of communication like using emoji icons or images which can be turned on and off with a switch. Lynn’s strength is in the vision of how minimalism contain multitudes. Her paintings have been inspired by meditating reflections or shadows in nature with musically influenced undertones and codes.
She currently lives in Sag Harbor, New York with her two boys and French husband, Christopher Charveriat, who is also an artist. Lynn & Christopher work together on several paintings and artworks.
