Emma Dunlavey is a British-born photographer and artist based in Los Angeles. As a professional photographer, Emma is well-known for shooting fashion, celebrities and advertising. Her editorial spreads have been published in many respected publications worldwide, including Vanity Fair Spain and Architectural Digest. Emma's celebrity images have been published globally and are syndicated by UK-based agency JME PHOTO and Getty Images. Additionally, her work and creative direction can be seen in advertising campaigns for Ford Motor and other Fortune 500 companies. Emma creates large-scale art pieces which often stem from her photographic images. She incorporates resins with mixed media and uses a process of layering different imagery. She often integrates three-dimensional materials into her pieces that create elevated visual and tactile elements to her work. Emma recently displayed a solo art show at Art Basel Miami in 2015. Recently, Emma produced the coffee table book, RAW, an in-depth collaboration with Pamela Anderson, published by BenBella Books. the 128-page book features over 300 of Emma’s photographs of Pamela spanning 20 years of friendship, travels and adventure. The collection of never-before-published images showcase Emma’s paintwork and reflect an intimate perspective of Pamela, juxtaposed with Anderson’s poetry and prose.
